Laura Matlock, DO, FACOG

Laura A. Matlock, DO, FACOG is an OBGYN providing patient care at Heartfelt Obstetrics & Gynecology in Klamath Falls, OR.

Dr. Matlock was raised in Northeast Ohio. She completed her undergraduate degree at Hiram College in Ohio. She studied biomedical humanities and biology. Following her undergraduate degree, she attended Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio obtaining a Master of Arts in bioethics. She worked with local hospitals, prior to starting medical school at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. She then completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. Following specialty training, she worked in private practice for two years in Phoenix, Arizona. She decided to relocate to Klamath Falls, OR to be closer to family.

Dr. Matlock is a board certified OB/GYN and fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has a special interest in pediatric adolescent gynecology, high risk obstetrics, and minimally invasive surgery. Her philosophy to medicine is to approach the unique needs of every woman with the goal of building lifelong relationships to promote overall health and wellness. Outside of work, Dr. Matlock enjoys hiking, kayaking, reading, and exploring Southern Oregon with her husband and dogs.
