Raised outside of Washington DC, Dr. Metz completed her undergraduate education in comparative literature at Haverford College in Pennsylvania. She then completed her medical education and specialty training at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. After two years in private practice in Virginia and the birth of their first child, Dr. Metz and her husband, Dr. Martin Meinig, relocated to Klamath Falls in search of a family-friendly lifestyle. 

Dr. Metz is board certified in OB/GYN and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. A published author and editor of several medical journal articles and books, her professional interests include alternatives to hysterectomy, sexual dysfunction, and promoting business in the Klamath Basin. Dr. Metz recently completed a fellowship in liposuction surgery, autologous fat transfer techniques, and cosmetic abdominoplasty from the International Society of Cosmetogynecology. 

She is committed to serving the needs of the Klamath community and feels very fortunate to have been so warmly received by new patients, friends, and colleagues.
